Samsung has officially shared details of its June 2025 One UI security patch, promising a significant boost to the safety of Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The update fixes 36 serious security bugs in Android. These are called CVEs (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures). Each CVE has a number that identifies a specific security problem.
The update, which is set to roll out soon, addresses 36 high-level vulnerabilities (CVEs) in the Android operating system, all classified as “High” severity. Notably, there are no “Critical” or “Moderate” vulnerabilities in this month’s patch, reflecting ongoing improvements in Android security.
The patch covers a range of security flaws, including CVE-2025-0427, CVE-2024-47896, and CVE-2025-26443, among others, targeting potential risks like privilege escalation and information disclosure. Samsung also confirmed that one CVE (CVE-2025-21485) included in Google’s June Android update was already fixed in previous One UI updates for Galaxy devices.
Additionally, Samsung’s patch includes 19 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVEs) unique to its devices, further strengthening the security of its ecosystem. Five CVEs listed by Google were deemed not applicable to Samsung hardware. For more information about SVE visit this official post.

Samsung Knox Security
This month’s Android security update does not fix any critical or moderate CVEs. Google tested and found no serious issues. That suggests Android is keeping a strong security level.
Samsung also noted that a CVE in Android’s June update is already patched on One UI devices. A CVE means that a specific security flaw was found. If it’s already patched, s don’t need another fix for that issue.
Already included in previous updates:
- CVE-2025-21485
Not applicable to Samsung devices
Google’s June 2025 patch details list five CVEs that do not affect Samsung hardware or software. Those are:
- CVE-2024-53019
- CVE-2024-53020
- CVE-2024-53021
- CVE-2024-53026
