Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has just got the June 2025 security update. The June 2025 security update for Samsung Galaxy S21 FE delivers some important fixes for devices running Android 15 and One UI 7.
This firmware upgrade carries build version G990EXXSFGYF1 and weighs in at roughly 300 MB. Alongside security enhancements, it includes system stability improvements to reduce crashes and improve smooth operation. This release follows last month’s One UI 7 roll out for the S21 FE and builds on the May security patch.

In this update, Samsung fixed 36 high-level Google vulnerabilities and exposures, as well as 19 security issues that were unique to Samsung. The Android fixes resolve issues that could allow remote code execution or privilege escalation, while the Samsung items patch vulnerabilities in system components and custom features. Integrating both sets of fixes ensures a more robust defence against data leaks and unauthorized access.

Samsung has begun the initial roll-out of the Exynos 2100-based variant of the Galaxy S21 FE 5G in select Asian markets such as Vietnam. This staged release helps Samsung monitor performance and gauge before expanding the update to Snapdragon variants. s in other regions may see the update arrive over the coming days as the roll-out widens.
To install this update, open Settings, select Software Update, then tap and install. Ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection and sufficient battery level.
